Traffic Wardens in Wiltshire will be on strike on Saturday 7th May, protesting against a proposed pay cut of 10%, through the removal of unsocial hours payments.
Parking enforcement will be affected on the day.
Wiltshire Council is proposing to remove the current, contractual payment, for around 350 staff, including social workers (who would lose 20%, or about £7000), traffic wardens (who would lose over £2000), highways, leisure centre staff, and care workers (reablement workers)
GMB says not a penny off the pay!
