Thirty GMB members protested outside County Hall in Trowbridge on Friday 25th March, protesting against proposed pay cuts of up to 20% for key workers.
The Cuts would reduce social worker pay by around £7000, and a 10% pay cut proposed for traffic wardens would reduce their pay by over £2000.
GMB is sending a strong message to Wiltshire Council, that these cuts will not be allowed to go ahead.
Although the cuts have been paused, the council have not taken them off the table, and are looking at reintroducing the proposals. GMB also has concerns about the consultation process.
